Mosquito Buckets are an effective and eco-friendly way to control mosquito populations. However, they are far more successful when they are widely deployed. Four years ago, my neighborhood started deploying mosquito buckets. At that time, we had about 50% of the households in our neighborhood participate. The impact was dramatic and many raved about how few mosquitos there were compared to prior years. Now, our community has about 80% of households participating. Mosquitos are virtually non-existent in our neighborhood.

I usually place a bulk purchase of all supplies (Buckets, Hay, and Dunks) and then set up a station where my neighbors can stop by and get their kits.

Below are links explaining the buckets as well as links to information sheets.
